The NC State Guard Association is looking for volunteers who are willing to serve the citizens for one to two days per month. Our usual weekend events are training, public service, or event management. We are organized in three brigades. The 1st BDE (Piedmont) is headquartered in Charlotte. The 2nd BDE (Mountaineer) is headquartered in Columbus, NC.  The newly formed 3rd BDE (Coastal) is training in CERT and are based in Turkey, NC. Volunteers are not required to serve in a brigade strictly based on geographic location. Most of our training events are open to the entire division.
